Galaxy Note 9 won't have in-display fingerprint scanner, Kuo


The report said Samsung was experimenting with in-display fingerprint technology but that the company wouldn't be ready to release it on the S9 range, and that's exactly what happened. The latest Galaxy S9 features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a new Intelligent Scan functionality that combines data from the facial recognition and iris scanner to recognize users.

There have been rumours and leaks for some time now that have suggested the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 would be the company's first to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.
