Google launches Google Lens for all the android users


Google Lens, the feature which allows the Pixel 2's camera to recognise and identify landmarks, objects, etc, is now going to be available on all Android phones via the Photos app. Before, the feature was only available on the Pixel.

These updates typically arrive at the beginning of each month with the latest security patches directly from Google, and any bug fixes for the latest version of Android. In parallel, they have already managed to extract the native application launcher from the new version of Android. The Google Lens feature uses Google's artificial intelligence (AI) to analyse the image and produce relevant information. Google has traditionally hid an easter egg inside these previews as a hint to what the codename of the OS will be called, and Android P is no exception.

Google has first announced its Google Lens in 2017 at Google I/O and as per the official tweet from Google, they have rolled out this feature to most of the Android devices by today i-e 6th of March.
