Haley warns UN: Russia may use chemical weapon on NY

The UN ambassador told a meeting of the UN Security Council on Thursday the USA agrees with British officials that a Russian defector and his daughter were likely poisoned by Russian agents in Salisbury, England, last week.

Haley said the poison attack is "Russia's crime" and added the use of chemical weapons was "not an isolated incident" for Moscow.

"A weapon so horrific that it is banned from use in war was used in a peaceful city in my country", Mr. Allen said.

The Ministry said: "We consider it categorically unacceptable and unworthy that the British Government, in its unseemly political aims, further seriously aggravated relations, announcing a whole set of hostile measures, including the expulsion of 23 Russian diplomats from the country".

Press Secretary Sarah Sanders says the United States "shares the United Kingdom's assessment that Russian Federation is responsible" for the attack.

Two Women Make Sexual Abuse Claims Against Actor Steven Seagal
ER and Good Wife star Julianna Margulies said that at one hotel meeting with Seagal in the 1980s, he had brandished a gun at her. The pair met late in the evening, which Dadis claimed she felt was odd but didn't comment on at the time.

Haley made her remarks at a UN Security Council emergency session.

"The most probable source origin (of) this chemical are the countries which have since the end of the 90s been carrying. out intensive research on these kinds of weapons, including the UK", Nebenzia said.

But Haley laid the blame firmly at Russia's door.

"This is a defining moment", Haley continued.

"Time and time again member states say they oppose the use of chemical weapons under any circumstances". "Now one member stands accused of using chemical weapons on the sovereign soil of another member".

South Korean prosecutors request arrest warrant for former president
Both their sentences were reduced on appeal, and they were eventually pardoned and released after serving about two years each. The court's decision on issuing a warrant for arrest is expected early Friday, Yonhap reported.

The American leadership's tone on the issue went through an abrupt change after a telephone conversation Tuesday night between Trump and the British prime minister, with the White House issuing a statement afterwards expressing solidarity with the U.K. According to a readout on the conversation from May's office, "President Trump said the USA was with the U.K. all the way", as NPR reported.

In questioning London's allegations, Nebenzia cited the English fictional detective Sherlock Holmes and his "hapless" Scotland Yard counterpart, Inspector Lestrade.

"We ask you today to stand by us", Allen told the council.

With apparent sarcasm, Nebenzia also suggested the United Kingdom government should look inward to determine why Russian nationals in the country so often find themselves in mortal peril, and mocked Haley's credibility as "an experienced chemist".

The United States, Britain, France and Germany jointly blamed the Russian government Thursday for the near-fatal poisoning of a former Russian spy and his daughter almost two weeks ago.
