Ivan Savvidis is wanted. Arrest warant against PAOK owner

Fernando Valera had scored for PAOK in the 90th minute before referee Giorgos Kominis appeared to rule it out for offside - sparking a mass pitch invasion.

Greek-Russian businessman Ivan Savvidis is one of the wealthiest men in Russia and closely linked to president Vladimir Putin. However, the committee maintained with its decision to award last month´s match - which was postponed after the incident - to Olympiakos 3-0 and to keep the 30,000 euros fine for PAOK.

Savvidis had asked his team to leave the pitch in protest after Kominos' call but PAOK's Portuguese captain Vieirinha refused and the team did not go to the locker rooms, unlike AEK.

There was widespread confusion over the result of the game, before AEK manager, former Sevilla boss Manolo Jimenez, confirmed the goal was eventually given and PAOK awarded a 1-0 victory.

"Right now we are leaving the stadium escorted by the police", he told Onda Cero (via Metro).
