Actress Kristen Wiig is reportedly the top choice to play the villain in "Wonder Woman 2" starring Gal Gadot... It sure sounds like it.

Wonder Woman can be considered the most acclaimed film in the DC Extended Universe film series. Connie Nielsen however, who plays Wonder Woman's mother, could well return.

Many of Sunday's angels were survivors of the 2016 Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando where 49 people died, Decarlo said. It is now cordoned off by a chain link fence that was covered with banners from other schools showing their solidarity.

And director Patty Jenkins previously admitted to being shocked by how well received her movie was. The film will be set in the 1980s against the backdrop of the Cold War and will release on November 1st, 2019. The plot of the film is still very much under wraps. If you want to know the history of this character, well, get in line because everything about DC Comics is incredibly convoluted due to DC's multitude of reboots and soft relaunches. She has appeared in four incarnations over the past 75 years - Priscilla Rich, Deborah Domaine, Barbara Ann Minerva and Sebastian Ballesteros.

In the comics, Cheetah (A.K.A. Dr. Barbara Minerva) is a British archaeologist who is given the powers of an ancient cheetah god when things go awry on an expedition in the African jungle. After a short absence, Minerva reappeared in the New 52 comics launched in 2011. Her sense of smell has also been enhanced and she is able to see in the dark. Given its success, it did not come as a surprise when both studios announced that a sequel to the first movie was in the works and would head into production soon. It's an interesting one none the less.
