Masahiro Sakurai Confirms Involvement on New Super Smash Bros


Switch will release in 2018.

The announcement of any Smash title brings with it an abundance of wish-listing, pertaining to the game's roster.

New characters will include the Squid Kids, the stars of breakout Nintendo hits Splatoon and Splatoon 2, whilst favorites Link and Mario can also be glimpsed in the trailer.

During a Nintendo Direct online broadcast on 8 March, the company screened a teaser for the brawler, which pits various well-known and obscure Nintendo characters against each other in a free-for-all.

Forbes' Paul Tassi, meanwhile, went on to speculate new characters that may be added to the Super Smash Bros. roster.

Another possible new character to the series is Rodin, the weapons dealer from Bayonetta 2, as suggested by an Easter egg in the over-the-top action game. However, the video game designer said that the title of the game was not yet ready to be announced.

In the month since its release, " Black Panther " has broken records at the box office and barriers in the film industry. A 44% drop for the tentpole's fourth weekend would be on par with its third weekend decline of 41%.

We didn't receive confirmation of whether this new release would be a port, tweaked remake, or an original Smash title.

Nintendo also revealed a slate of other games for the Switch that are set to debut this year, including a "Captain Toad" puzzle game on July 13, The Verge reported.

It's unclear whether this game will be a remix of the 2014 "Super Smash Bros." game or something completely different, as Mashable reported.
