The bride's arrest followed a three-car crash, and Scott insinuated in a now-deleted tweet that Young's alleged intoxication was a factor.
Police say a bride in southern Arizona was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after she was involved in a vehicle crash on the way to her wedding.
Man attacks SUV with sledgehammer as driver tries to flee crash
Another man then gets a sledgehammer and starts breaking every window, an action that one witness says may have gone too far. The driver was later taken into custody though, at which point a cop remarked that he looked "to be high on narcotics".
Responding cops reportedly suspected that the bride, who was wearing a full-length white wedding dress, might have been impaired while behind the wheel.
Sgt. Chriswell Scott of the Marana Police Department tweeted an image of her arrest, revealing the back of the blonde bride donning her gown and eye glasses on her head, with her arms behind her back in handcuffs. They performed a field test, and determined she was under the influence of either alcohol or drugs, Scott said. Police believe she caused the crash.

It was not clear if Young made it to her wedding on time.
Police said one person sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

As yet, there is no information as to whether the wedding ceremony went forward today, but this story will be updated if or when more details become available.
