BJP releases second list of 82 candidates for Karnataka elections

On April 8, the BJP had announced the first list of 72 candidates who will contest the high stakes Karnataka assembly polls.

The BJP's second list has come a day after the Congress come out with its first list of 218 candidates on Sunday. Will the Yeddyurappa-led BJP pull off a win in the state under Amit Shah's watchful eye?

The Congress has not named candidates for six seats - Shantinagar in Bengaluru, Melukote, Kittur in Belagavi, Raichur Urban, Nagathana and Sindhgi in Vijayapura district.
