Colts' Luck improving, but hasn't resumed throwing NFL footballs

Andrew Luck says his surgically repaired right shoulder feels better and is hopeful of being on the field when training camp opens.

Luck said Monday he pushed himself too hard too quickly and was - at times - his own worst enemy. Luck said he thought he "pushed a little too hard" in his attempt to return to action after having surgery past year and that he's not going to skip any steps along the way this time as a result. The last time Luck threw a football came in October, but the Colts ended up shutting him down for the season after he suffered a setback.

"There's still a bit of a journey left, and I'm not going to skip any steps", Luck said.
