Destiny 2's Second Expansion Gets Official Name, Release Date

Anyway, the studio teased the paid expansion as part of an updated development roadmap for Destiny 2 that covers Seasons Three and Season Four (which contain content available to all players for free).

Warmind's announcement was made as part of Bungie's latest update to Destiny 2's development roadmap.

The second expansion for Destiny 2, titled Warmind, will be launching on May 8, Bungie announced today. Announced details regarding Warmind itself are limited to the expansion's name and release date, but more info will be revealed during an April 24 livestream.

Bungie has already promised that the Destiny 2 Warmind expansion "will send you to new places to meet new heroes and battle new enemies. You'll earn new loot and master new activities".

Bungie updated its roadmap for the future of the game, and we know that this update will add seasonal Crucible rankings, private matches, an increase to vault space, support for multiple equipped emotes, Exotic weapon Masterworks, and more. All of the new Crucible maps that are being developed for the new expansion will be released to matchmaking as well as those developed for the previous expansion Curse of Osiris.
