Egg Recall 2018: 200M eggs recalled over salmonella fears in 9 states

The recall is the largest of eggs in the U.S. since 2010, when more than 550 million eggs were recalled from two Iowa farms, according to the website Food Safety News.

Rose Acre Farms in Seymour, Indiana voluntarily recalled 206,749,248 eggs due to the health scare, the FDA said in an announcement Friday.

Over 200 million eggs are part of the voluntary recall because they might be contaminated with salmonella.
