"Unbelievably, James Comey states that Polls, where Crooked Hillary was leading, were a factor in the handling (stupidly) of the Clinton Email probe", Trump said.

President Donald Trump, left, shakes hands with James Comey, then director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, in the Blue Room of the White House in Washington on January 22, 2017.

Asked if the president wanted the Justice Department to investigate Comey, White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Sunday on ABC's "This Week" that she was not aware of a specific request. "This president is not able to do that".

In the ABC segment that aired on Friday (Saturday NZT), Stephanopoulos also asked Comey if he had disclosed to Trump the source of funding of the dossier, compiled by Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer. The investigation by Mueller into Russian interference in the 2016 election is reviewing whether Trump obstructed justice by firing Comey, and through other actions.

Although James Comey is not the first person to make the allegation, he's certainly one of the most prominent.

Stephanopoulos pushed him on the question, saying "That's stunning".

And Ibrox skipper Tavernier was dismayed with the lacklustre performance as the Gers suffered another derby defeat. Although he didn't get himself on the scoresheet, Celtic captain Scott Brown played a blinder in central midfield.

The former lawyer also compared the President to one of the mafia bosses he once took on, calling his leadership ego driven and about personal loyalty.

When asked about his first impression of Trump, Comey said he was similar to how he "thought he looked on television".

"I don't buy this stuff about him being mentally incompetent or early stages of dementia", Comey told ABC. "I don't follow him on Twitter, but I'm sure it's going to come", Comey said. "But instead, what I'm talking about is that leadership culture constantly comes back to me when I think about my experience with the Trump administration".

And I-I think-look, I haven't talked about this.

Trump has denied asking for Comey's loyalty. "Our president must embody respect and adhere to the values that are at the core of this country", he explains. "He is morally unfit to be president".

Comey claims that at the beginning of Trump's term, the new president told him, "I need loyalty".

The Houston Rockets are averaging 112.4 points on 46 percent shooting and allowing 103.9 points on 46.2 percent shooting. The Wolves didn't get enough from their big guns to contend with a team that possesses the firepower Houston has.

He added that U.S. citizens need to "fight" for American values, and that "impeachment, in a way, would short-circuit that". He also fumed about Mueller, and considered firing the special counsel, along with Attorney General Jeff Sessions, whose recusal from the Russian Federation probe led to Mueller's appointment by Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein.

Trump's firing of Comey set off a scramble at the Justice Department that led to the appointment of Mueller as special counsel overseeing the Russian Federation investigation.

In a separate interview with USA Today, Comey - in a reference to salacious allegations contained in an unverified dossier created by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele - said it is hard "to explain some things without at least leaving your mind open" to the possibility that such compromising information exists. But Trump later told NBC's Lester Holt that "this Russian Federation thing" had been a factor in his decision.

Comey even describes Trump as a mob boss.running the oval office like a Godfather! Comey also revealed during the hearing that he documented his interactions with Trump because he was "concerned" that the President "might lie about the nature of our meeting".

The former FBI director said he still would've sent the letter reopening the investigation into the emails before the 2016 election, even though Clinton and her team blamed it for her loss.
