FOX news host Sean Hannity revealed as Michael Cohen's third mystery client

Attorneys for Donald Trump and his legal fixer Michael Cohen are due back in court on Monday to fight a plan by Trump's justice department to start looking through records from their decade-long working relationship.

And it turns out, that client is none other than Fox News host Sean Hannity.

At a hearing in federal court in Manhattan on Monday, a judge ordered a lawyer for Cohen to disclose that Hannity is a client of Cohen.

"I never paid legal fees to Michael", Hannity said.

Furniture sales climb 3.9% in March
Commerce reported that March was up 0.6% compared to February at $494.6 billion and was up 4.5% compared to March 2017. But sales at building material stores fell 0.6 percent last month and receipts at clothing stores dropped 0.8 percent.

"But I have occasionally had brief discussions about legal questions about which I wanted his input and his perspective", Hannity said.

"Let me be very clear to the media, Michael never represented me in any matter - I never retained him in the traditional sense as retaining a lawyer".

Further adding to the drama, Stephanie Clifford, a pornographic film actor known as Stormy Daniels who alleges that she had a sexual encounter with Trump and was paid $130,000 by Cohen to keep quiet, intends to attend Monday's hearing, according to her lawyer.

Hannity later said on Twitter that his conversations with Cohen never involved anyone else.

When Hannity did finally speak, after releasing a brief statement on the matter to the media, he only briefly touched on the revelation of his intimate involvement with Cohen, who he has vigorously defended since the Federal Bureau of Investigation raid. McKay stressed that the team of government lawyers who would review the seized material would be "walled off" from their colleagues, like himself, who are pursuing the criminal inquiry against Cohen.

Late Sunday, lawyers for Trump asked for copies of the seized material to be turned over so the President could review them for confidential information.

Cohen has argued that some of the documents and data seized from him under a warrant are protected by attorney-client privilege or otherwise unconnected to the investigation.

Cohen acknowledged that seven of the 10 clients he had in 2017 to 2018 involved business consulting over legal advice. The attorneys said in the filing that Cohen represented three clients in the past year: Trump; Elliot Broidy, the Republican fundraiser for whom Cohen helped facilitate a $1.6 million payment to a Playboy playmate; and a third person. Both women claimed to have affairs with Trump, who has denied the allegations.
