Superman celebrated his 80th birthday Wednesday.
Superman debuted in Action Comics #1 back on April 18, 1938.
The triple-sized issue features 10 variant covers and stories created by writers such as Brian Michael Bendis, Paul Dini, Geoff Johns, Jim Lee and Scott Snyder.
Joshua Middleton represents the '80s, which is a big puzzling considering that Middleton began his career in 2000 and there are plenty of artists from the '80s still active.but it's something fans are likely to overlook considering the popularity of Middleton's work on Superman/Shazam!: First Thunder. "It's fascinating that so many creators and fans are gravitating back to the character when we yet again find ourselves in a different time of nearly daily global chaos where people are not treating each other well", Bendis said.
"I think it's that he stands for hope".Читайте также: KKR and RR focusing eye for their third win

Clowes previously worked with DC Comics on a cover that he created with The Simpson's Matt Groening for a collection of Bizzaro stories.
According to a report earlier this month, Action Comics has sold more than 500,000 copies to comic shops.
Bendis, who has played an important role in shaping Marvel's comic book line for close to 20 years, is best known for penning noteworthy comics such as Ultimate Spider-Man, Alias, New Avengers, Daredevil, House of M, Secret Invasion, Siege, Age of Ultron, Guardians of the Galaxy, Invincible Iron Man and many others.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
