Oklahoma teacher walkout ends, but the fight continues

More than a week after frustrated teachers walked out of class in Oklahoma, lawmakers and the state's education association have reached a deal. Many of them said the raises were secondary to increasing general school funding, as the state faces a severe teacher shortage and schools lack basic supplies and modern textbooks.

Priest said that Republican senators refused to "move an inch" when it comes to finding more funding for education.

Priest said that while the walkout is ending, their fight for increased funding will continue, with a shift in their focus.
