It's the battle of the giants in the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League on Wednesday as Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings will finally get a chance to reignite one of the oldest rivalries at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The Consolation Act: RCB may be sitting in sixth position on the IPL ladder, but they certainly can't blame their top-end talent for their troubles after another stunning performance from AB de Villiers.

Dhoni and Rayudu were the mainstays of the CSK innings. When Rayudu ran himself out (as he did in the last match) in the 18 th over, CSK needed 31 runs off the last 13 deliveries.

Westbrook says in interview Thunder will 'come back for Game 7'
Seven technicals were called in the last game. "Just picked my spots and tried to be aggressive", Westbrook said. The Jazz led by 15 at halftime and quickly grew the advantage to 71-46 after back-to-back 3-pointers by Crowder.

However, CSK got the big wicket of RCB skipper Virat Kohli when Shardul Thakur had him caught at mid-on by a diving Ravindra Jadeja with the score reading 35 at the start of fifth over.

Rayudu's masterful 82 came off just 53 balls (3x4, 8x6), while Dhoni's breezy 70 was scored in just 34 balls (1x4, 7x6).

Reflecting on his team's performance, Dhoni admitted that he had initially thought that the chase is going to be a really hard one but his partnership with Amabti Rayudu laid the foundation of a chase that he and Bravo later pounced on. A single brought Dhoni on strike, who finished the match with a heave over mid-wicket - his seventh and most-important six.

ICE Dhongi Baaba predicts that RCB might win this match today. After the early departure of Shane Watson (7), Rayudu punished the RCB bowlers to all parts of the park but failed to garner support from other batsmen.

The South African duo led by Quinton de Kock (53) and AB de Villiers (68) then led a massive assault, smashing a flurry of boundaries as they shared a quickfire 103-run partnership. Despite ruing letting go Chris Gayle, RCB still have with them the top two batsmen in the world in Indian and RCB captain Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. He tonked one off Corey Anderson (3.4-58-0) over the long on boundary and sealed the game for CSK. It's just the fact that de Villiers countered us so well. With 14 required off the last over, Bravo eased out the equation with a four and a six on the first two balls of the over.

Mandeep Singh survived a first ball missed stumping by Dhoni before played a little cameo of 32 runs off 17 balls which carried Bangalore beyond the 200-run mark. Because of 2 back to back wickets till 15th over changed the scenario of the match and finally RCB could only reach 205 runs.
