The Seattle Seahawks are hoping Sebastian Janikowski can solve their kicking issues.
"Former Raiders' kicker Sebastian Janikowski reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks, per source". Janikowski, 40, became a free agent in March when the Raiders chose not to re-sign him after 18 years with the franchise. Janikowski has made 80.4 percent of his kicks during his career and holds the National Football League record with 55 field goals of 50 yards or longer.

He'll now be tasked with replacing fellow veteran Blair Walsh, who struggled to the tune of 21-of-29 on field goal attempts for Seattle last season.

The Seahawks also signed Jason Myers in the offseason, but Janikowski will likely have the advantage going into training camp. The Raiders play the Seahawks in their preseason finale (either August 30 or 31) in Seattle and in London on October 14.
