Shenmue Remaster Collection launching in 2018

The publisher made the announcement during the Sega Fes event in Japan, to much celebration from the fans who have followed the series since its Dreamcast days.

A Sega representative has confirmed that the recently announced Shenmue I & II re-releases will retail for $29.99 in the US. The most interesting, yet long anticipated, was a PC, PS4 and Xbox One Shenmue remaster.

Like we said, Shenmue 1 and 2 will be hitting modern platforms sometime later this year. The long-anticipated follow-up, Shenmue III, is also due for release later this year following a highly successful Kickstarter campaign.

Sega is promising that the new "Shenmue" releases will be the "best Shenmue experience to date", but it's not known yet if Sega is upgrading all the graphics of the Dreamcast originals to HD or even higher.
