Top Tamil actor turns antagonist for Rajinikanth's Next

Kollywood actor Vijay Sethupathi is all set to star alongside Rajinikanth in Karthik Subbaraj's next film.

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi will be sharing screen space with Rajinikanth for the very first time in this movie! The untitled movie that will be produced by Sun Pictures is touted to be an action-drama flick. While there were unconfirmed reports that the actor might play Rajini's brother in the film, a source close to the director has stated that he will be donning the antagonist's role. Pizza, the debut directorial venture of Karthik Subbaraj had featured Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role.

Also, since there are no big budget Bollywood releases this week, the film will not face much competition at the box office. All the top celebrities from Tollywood watched the film and lauded Mahesh Babu , Koratala Siva for their exceptional work.

The new film, yet untitled, is expected to be made on a large scale. Once Rajinikanth returns from his USA visit, he will start shooting for the new film. Apart from Tamil, the film will be simultaneously released in Telugu and Hindi dubbed versions on June 7.
