West Brom 'pulling in same direction' for Darren Moore - James McClean

Manchester United handed the Premier League title to Manchester City on Sunday after a woeful performance in a surprise 1-0 defeat at home by bottom club West Bromwich Albion. They defended tight and conceded possession to United, two things that wouldn't be surprising when a lower league team faces a top team.

Former England global Gary Lineker, who now work as a television presenter, tweeted: "Congratulations to @ManCity on winning the Premier League title". I think with my experience you don't win titles with inconsistency.

It says a lot about the way Albion's season has gone that they are now on to their third managerial reign of the campaign. I'm not sure the man himself could quite believe it.

"I'm buzzing, over the moon, so happy".

Few - including Guardiola - expected it to happen on Sunday.

Baggies' director of football administration Richard Garlick, who attended the hearing, said: "Everyone at the club is delighted for Jay because this has been a trying period for him".

Moscow Rejects to Comment on Reports About New US Sanctions
The U.S. president, who has tried to build good relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, had sharply critical words for both Russia and Iran, which have backed Assad's government.

"Winning the Premier League is going to be one of the best three seasons I have ever had as a player and as a manager".

"Everything must be consistent until the last day".

The first half was a bad advert for the English top-flight.

Jake Livermore did not generate enough power behind his shot to trouble David de Gea, after he had checked back onto his left foot in the box, while Salomon Rondon headed over from James McClean's cross.

Lukaku would have had another opportunity at a one-on-one with Foster on 36 minutes had his heavy first touch not allowed the Albion stopper to race off his line before the Belgian could get a shot away.

After sacking Alan Pardew at the start of the month, Darren Moore has been handed the West Brom until the end of the season.

Browns not expected to pursue Dez Bryant
Bryant , who played eight seasons in Dallas, has seen a dramatic drop off in productivity the past few seasons. Chris Mortensen is reporting that none of the three teams are exactly "embracing" bringing Bryant aboard.

When asked about the possibility of becoming the next Baggies boss, Moore remained coy.

Daniel Sturridge, Nacer Chadli and Sam Field could all be back in contention for West Brom. And for £3 million, it would surely be hard for any team in the top flight to argue that he would not be a smart signing in an era that sees some fringe players move for 10 times that amount. They won the title because they were the best team, because they won a great amount of points.
