Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo and St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina have received one-game suspensions after an altercation in Sunday's game.

Per an official release from MLB (via Big League Stew), Molina and Lovullo have each been suspended one game for the incident.

Molina, who bumped plate umpire Tim Timmons during the bench-clearing dispute Sunday, appealed the ban.

Apple Wins Isaac Asimov "Foundation" Series from David Goyer, Josh Friedman
The project was put together by Skydance Television, who made a deal with the Asimov estimate and put writer/producers David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman on the job of figuring out how to adapt Asimov's influential series.

The St. Louis Cardinals didn't need the assistance of Yadier Molina as they played into the wee hours of Tuesday, defeating division rival Milwaukee Brewers 5-3 in extra innings - with Molina going 0-5 in the contest. "But it has and now we'll have to deal with it".

"[Lovullo] called me a m--f-- twice", Molina said after the game, according to KPNX-TV. Lovullo will miss Tuesday night's game at San Francisco and was fined an undisclosed amount. Lovullo had yet to decide where to watch the game but planned to stay at the ballpark. Lovullo argued with Timmons, saying a called third strike on Arizona's A.J. Pollock was influenced by the All-Star catcher's pitch framing.

And by "his part" I mean the bit where Molina reacted to Lovullo pointing at him and repeatedly calling the St. Louis receiver a multi-syllabic swear word.

Alleged Toronto serial killer facing another charge
Police say they've identified the remains of three more people believed to be victims of alleged serial killer Bruce McArthur. The Wednesday's charge brings the total to seven, but police do not rule out more charges as investigation progresses.

Yadi deserves no sort of suspension, but if you're going to sit him for one game, then Luvollo's suspension needs to be much more severe.

"I wasn't even talking to Yadi, I was talking to the umpire", Lovullo said.

Lovullo, who later acknowledged he "made a mistake with some of the wording that I chose", was ejected for leaving the dugout to argue balls and strikes.
