Aston Martin DB11 AMR

Utilising a subtly upgraded version of the 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 from the standard DB11, power has been lifted by 30bhp to 630bhp. The DB11 AMR is cementing its place as the flagship in the DB11 lineup as it serves as a replacement for the V12-powered DB11. Gloss black for the roof, grille, sills and splitter are key identifiers, likewise darker finishes for the lighting units.

The new AMR V12 set itself apart with exposed carbon fiber trim pieces complimented by darkened headlight surrounds and smoked tail lights.

Inside, "monotone" leather and Alcantara upholstery with a contrasting lime stripe is just one of a plethora of trim options: Aston offers three "Designer Specifications", along with an AMR Signature Edition, each with a different combination of interior and exterior touches.

Avengers 4: Iron Man star drops huge Infinity War sequel plot spoiler
Hawkeye and Ant Man , who didn't appear in the film, are also expected to make a comeback in next year's movie. It also points to a potential time jump from Avengers: Infinity War to the as yet untitled Avengers 4 movie.

As you'd expect, the DB11 AMR is more than just an appearance package. The V12 now generates 630 horsepower, 30 more than the outgoing DB11 V12, and 127 horsepower more than the V8-powered DB11. The combined results are a new 0-62mph time of 3.7sec, two-tenths better than before, and a top speed of 208mph, a gain of 8mph. That's still an eight-speed automatic with electronic shift-by-wire, paired with a limited-slip differential and featuring launch control. Dubbed the Aston Martin DB11 AMR, this hotter version makes more horsepower from its V12 mill than the standard DB11.

"Since its initial launch back in 2016 the DB11 range has matured rapidly and intelligently", said Aston Martin President & Chief Executive Officer Andy Palmer. The model can also be outfitted with a carbon fiber sport steering wheel and a custom luggage set that is created to match the vehicle. Limited to 100 cars worldwide, there will be a Stirling green and lime edition, with lime accents bleeding into the "dark knight" leather interior. Featuring even more extensive carbon fibre detailing on the exterior, Dark Knight leather with Lime detailing, Satin Dark Chrome switchgear and Satin Carbon Fibre trim, only 100 examples will be sold worldwide, priced at £26,000 more than the standard auto. A Rapide AMR is up next we are told.
