Former Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield will be hitting the TV screen this summer with the Cleveland Browns, as they were selected to be featured on HBO's "Hard Knocks" series. "It's not something we would be really excited about", Lynch told NBC Sports Bay Area earlier this month about the prospects of the 49ers being on 'Hard Knocks.' "I love the show, but I think some things are best left behind closed doors". Camera and sound crews will have total access to players' and coaches' meeting rooms, training rooms, as well as living quarters and practice fields. New York's Daily News termed it "the gold standard of sports reality programming", while espnW wrote, "The return of the National Football League season also means the return of one of the best shows on television, HARD KNOCKS".
