As was speculated last month, the Cleveland Browns are set to be featured on this season of HBO's popular reailty sports documentary series, Hard Knocks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Since its debut in 2001, the series has given a behind-the-scenes look at National Football League teams' preparation for the upcoming season. The Browns selected Heisman Trophy victor Baker Mayfield with the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, and will place the Oklahoma product in competition with Tyrod Taylor, who was acquired from the Buffalo Bills this offseason.

Multiple people injured in serious crash between school bus, dump truck
A red dump truck with a mangled front end was parked along the highway nearby, about 50 miles west of NY . The National Transportation Safety Board said it was gathering information on the crash.

Six teams were eligible this year, and the network apparently chose Cleveland over San Francisco, Denver, San Diego, Baltimore and Washington.

"NFL Films has always been exceptional at bringing fans closer to the game and they do an outstanding job with every show they produce, including HBO's HARD KNOCKS", say Cleveland Browns owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam. "This will be a great opportunity for our team".

Sensex falls over 150 points; Nifty trades at 10736
The 30-share Sensex surged over 436 points in early trade and the NSE Nifty soared almost 128 points before making a U-turn. The stock closed at Rs 75.55 - down Rs 10.45 or 12.15 per cent - from the previous close of Rs 86 per share.

Beyond the presence of Mayfield, the brash Heisman Trophy victor, the Browns should provide a fair dose of intriguing storylines, from coach Hue Jackson, who is 1-31 in two seasons in Cleveland, to the additions of quarterback Tyrod Taylor and wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

Whether Dorsey actually believes this is another matter but Ken Carman of 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland legitimately feels this is the flawless time for the Browns to be on the national stage. "We have been asked multiple times about being featured on Hard Knocks, and we really felt like it was our turn this year and the timing was right". "Hue and I both feel like this team is in a good place and that we're in the process of building something that will lead to success". Camera and sound crews will have unencumbered access to players' and coaches' meeting rooms, training rooms, living quarters and practice fields. There's the obvious intrigue about Mayfield, Jackson's tenuous hold on his job, and whether an organization with two winning seasons in almost two decades can finally turn things around. Teams are exempt if they have a first-year head coach, have made the playoffs the last two seasons or have appeared on "Hard Knocks" in the past 10 years.
