Germany coach Joachim Loew has agreed to extend his contract with the world champions to 2022, he said on Tuesday before the unveiling of his preliminary World Cup squad.

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Neuer was named in Low's provisional 27-man party for Russian Federation 2018 on Tuesday despite not playing since September following foot surgery, although he has now returned to full training.

But there is a notable absentee with World Cup final goal scorer Mario Gotze missing out.

The United manager will employ some new faces also for his reconstructed backroom team. It's a no-brainer to try to pick people's brains to try to learn as much as I can.

The 32-year-old Neuer suffered a broken bone in his foot and only returned to training days ago but Germany coach Joachim Loew made a decision to take four keepers to the training camp in the Italian Alps from May 23-June 5. "Neuer is back in full training and we want to see and judge him in the training camp". "What is clear is that without match practice to go into a World Cup is not possible".

"But right now, things look good".

"I know that those players [who missed out] are just very disappointed because they worked hard for it. Sandro has shown his class when with the team".

Each neuron has several thousand synapses. "It's interesting, but I don't think they've transferred a memory", he said. The next step was to extract RNA from the snails' nervous systems, but only from those that had received the shocks.

Others on the outside looking in will be injured Liverpool midfielder Emre Can, Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl and forward Andre Schurrle and Arsenal defender Skhodran Mustafi. The Borussia Dortmund striker scored in extra time against Argentina in 2014 to seal Germany's fourth World Cup.

There is huge quality throughout the squad, from Mats Hummels and Jerome Boateng in defence, to Kroos and Ilkay Gundogan in the engine room and Muller and Sane in attack.

Manchester City's Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan are among the Premier League players to be selected.

Lewis Hamilton 'close' to new deal with Mercedes
Hamilton would have been concerned to see Vettel's Ferrari directly behind him, his title rival having passed Bottas at the start. We would then have a true qualifying tyre, which forces a short first stint in the race and, therefore, a two-stop strategy.

They open their World Cup campaign against Mexico on June 17, before fixtures against Sweden (June 23) and South Korea (June 27).
