Man Punches Service Dog, Pregnant Deaf Woman: Cops


Manley's wife complained about being allergic to dogs as the plane descended and then taxied to a gate at Orlando International Airport.

Earlier, Timothy Manley's wife, Petrini, had complained of allergies, and the canine's stretch was allegedly the final straw for the 59-year-old.

"At some point, Hazel was punched in the stomach by Timothy and [Ramirez and Silvay's] two children were touched by Timothy", according to the police report. She and her husband are additionally deaf, and have been touring with their service canine, a Nice Dane named Zariel.

Manley felt Ramirez's Great Dane was taking up too much space.

He signed legislation previous year aimed at cutting off government money from the group and others that perform abortions. More than 200 congressional Republicans sent letters to HHS Secretary Alex Azar urging him to take the regulatory action.

But according to a report by the Orlando Police Department, which was obtained by ABC News, Manley "punched it with a closed fist", causing Zariel to yelp and take cover under a seat.

The Sentinel said all people involved declined medical treatment, but Ramirez is willing to testify in court.

However, Petrini said the entire incident took place because of a misunderstanding and said her husband hit the dog by mistake. Officers noted in their report that Manley tried walking away upon their arrival.

Ramirez said she and her husband, Matt Silva, were appalled by Manley's actions, and Silva confronted the man. WESH 2 News published a video on its site that shows "a man running after another man" in the terminal.

"Unfortunately the man [was] determined to leave so he ran and punched my belly then pushed my two daughters, they fell and cried so hard", she said. Silvay admitted to tackling Timothy Maley after they departed the plane, police said.

In wake of the incident, a Frontier spokesman said, "The safety and security of our passengers is our top priority at Frontier".

No one was arrested following the incident, but the FBI is investigating the case because it happened on a plane, according to ABC news.

"Police were immediately notified to aid in deescalating the situation".
