The teenager accused of carrying out the mass shooting at Santa Fe High School on Friday was known as a quiet student who often wore a trench coat to school.

Ten students were killed and 13 were injured Friday when the shooter opened fire at Santa Fe High School in Texas.

In their first statement since the massacre, the family of 17-year-old suspect Dimitrios Pagourtzis said on Saturday the bloodshed, "seems incompatible with the boy we love".
