Time travellers welcomed at Prof Stephen Hawking's memorial service

As part of the Discovery Channel series Into The Universe with Stephen Hawking, the Professor threw a party for time travelers, only sending out the invitations after the fact.

What's striking is that people from the future can also apply for the memorial service as the website is accepting people born before December 31, 2038.

In a Q&A, written up by Arts Technica, Professor Hawking said: "Einstein's general theory of relativity seems to offer the possibility that we could warp space-time so much that we could travel back in time".

At the Seattle Science Festival in 2012, Hawking claimed to have the experimental evidence that time travel isn't possible.
