U.S. governors sign letter backing Donald Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

The governors, in agreement with the House Republicans, said "the president's strategy in reaching this historical moment included renewed cooperation with China to impose multilateral sanctions against North Korea, placing new pressure on the Kim regime".

"We can think of no one more deserving of the Committee's recognition in 2019 than President Trump for his tireless work to bring peace to our world", their letter stated.

The governors of Alabama and MS are among those supporting the nomination of President Donald Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize.
