UFC: Liddell comes out of retirment, challenges Jones

Liddell last fought professionally in June 2018, when he was knocked out by Rich Franklin - tallying his fifth defeat in six fights. While this may not be the news fans of "The Iceman" want to hear, he did promise he'll still be the same heavy hitting guy he was before. I normally try to respect my elders but if you want it, come get it. What was beyond questionable, however, was his callout of now suspended former champion Jon Jones, who responded with a seething reply later in the day. Liddell is hoping that the relationship with De la Hoya blossoms into his own promoter role, but for now, it's just as a fighter.

Liddell vowed that he is serious about his comeback and is set on returning to the cage with or without Ortiz.

"It does not hinge on Tito's participation".

"I think style wise - in my prim - I would have matched up with him flawless".

When the relatives returned to the girl's home, they found the 11-year-old girl with multiple stab wounds and the kitchen on fire. Tulsa police issued an Amber Alert for Hafza on Monday night after Taheera Ahmad, 39, and Hafza were last seen around 8 p.m .

"In my mind, I'd like to fight two good warm-up fights then I'd like a shot at Jon Jones".

And while most who know both fighters wouldn't see the hypothetical matchup as one that is overly competitive, that hasn't stopped everyone else from wondering at how both men - at their respective peaks - would fare against each other inside the UFC octagon.

Ortiz was jonesing for another fight with Liddell over the weekend on Instagram.

Chuck Liddell wants to come back to MMA and fight in November, even if the fight isn't a trilogy-maker with Tito Ortiz.

The spat started with U.S. measures against Chinese steel and aluminium imports, which led to Beijing imposing tariffs on 128 different USA products.

"I will fight again", Liddell said, point blank, on the show (transcribed by MMA Fighting). And wants to face longtime rival Tito Ortiz!

Liddell also doesn't seem to give a shit about his health.

Jones has been sitting out on a USADA suspension following a second failed drug test after knocking out Daniel Cormier at UFC 217 and is facing a four-year suspension. The rules call for each fighter to submit a magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA) of their brain, annual testing that includes a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the brain without contrast, EKG, cardiac testing, neurocognitive testing, blood work, and a vision test.

Do you think the return of Chuck Liddell is acceptable? And if they don't, athletic commissions all across the country need to refuse to clear Liddell for a fight.
