Meghan's father Thomas Markle breaks silence after missing wedding

Ahead of their wedding, Meghan told of her desire to hit the ground running as a working royal, and the new Duchess has been as good as her word.

Things came to a head less than a week before the wedding when it was revealed Thomas was paid to stage paparazzi photos.

He said he was "jealous" but "honoured" Prince Charles ended up walking Meghan down the aisle in his place.

The next day, he said that he would attend the wedding-only if doctors signed off on him traveling after he reportedly suffered a heart attack.
