Seth MacFarlane Donates $2.5 Million to NPR After Tweet About Fox Network


Steve Levitan, co-creator of the Fox-produced comedy "Modern Family", says he's "disgusted to work at a company that has anything to do with Fox News" in a tweet on Tuesday, adding that he'll be "setting up shop elsewhere" after the hit series finishes its run.

Levitan, 56, pointed to comments by host Laura Ingraham that child-detention centers were "essentially summer camps". Over the weekend, "Family Guy" co-creator Seth MacFarlane said Fox News made him "embarrassed to work for this company".

Reports of minor explosion at London Tube station

Seth responded on his Twitter account, "In other words, don't think critically, don't consult multiple news sources, and in general, don't use your brain". "We are thankful to all who support quality, independent journalism", the statement reads. Apatow took the message a step further, though, calling on other creators and performers who have deals with Fox News to let their voices be heard as well. Who has a movie, TV show, sporting event, news show at Fox? "This is fringe s--, and it's business like this that makes me embarrassed to work for this company".
