Trump adviser sorry he made Trudeau comment

President Donald Trump said Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau "learned" from the mistake of criticising him and it's going to cost Canada "a lot of money".

"Let me correct a mistake I made", Navarro said at a Wall Street Journal conference, according to video provided by the Journal's CFO Network.

"I have made it very clear to the president that it is not something we relish doing, but it is something that we absolutely will do, because Canadians, we're polite, we're reasonable, but we also will not be pushed around", Trudeau said. Appearing on separate news shows, Kudlow accused Trudeau of "betrayal" and Navarro called the news conference a "stunt" and went on to assail the prime minister in unusually harsh terms.

The current troubles between Trump and Trudeau started when the U.S. announced it would place tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from key allies, including Canada.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra attend his cousin's wedding
The couple seemed to have a great time making videos of the wedding on their cellphones and chatting with his relatives. Taking Priyanka as "plus one" most certainly proves that the singer took the actress as his "date" for the wedding.

Trump, who had criticised Trudeau after the G7 meeting in Canada on the weekend, said the United States had a big trade deficit with Canada, and "a little balance" was needed. "That's what weak, dishonest Justin Trudeau did", Navarro said on the "Fox News Sunday" program. Kudlow told Tapper that Trudeau "did a great disservice" to the G7, and said that Trudeau had attacked Trump for "domestic consumption".

Navarro, a supporter of tariffs to help reduce the United States trade deficit and a longtime critic of China, turned his anger at Canada over the weekend as a Group of Seven meeting hosted by Trudeau ended in disarray and trade threats. And I say, push him around?

Freeland said she had a "good conversation" Sunday with US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, and that the pair would try to meet in Washington this week. "It was very friendly".

Navarro said he had been trying to use strong words to back Mr. Trump's trade stance but went too far. "(Trudeau) learned. You can't do that.

‘No relationship with their father is harmful’: Angelina Jolie may lose custody
The Maleficent star is not to read any text messages between the children and their father, or secretly monitor calls. Pitt must spend time with each child at least twice during the 10-day period with one of the psychologists present.

"I have a good relationship with Justin Trudeau, I really did".

Another thing buoying Trudeau has been the near-universal Canadian response to Trump's comments. Trump's steel tariffs and threats to tax auto imports, among other protectionist policies, have strained relations with America's closest allies, including Canada, with whom the administration has been struggling to re-negotiate NAFTA.

Showing support for industry amid the turmoil, Trudeau met Tuesday with a group of farmers in Ottawa who benefit from the supply management system that has drawn the ire of Trump.

A recent report by the Peterson Institute for International Economics found that blanket 25-per-cent tariffs on automobile imports to the US, including auto parts, would reduce production by 1.5 per cent and could cause job losses of 195,000 in the USA over the first three years, and would affect $200 billion in US imports.

House GOP in last-ditch attempt on immigration
GOP leaders are scrambling to prevent the petition from being completed on Tuesday, which would set a debate for June 25. That solution is meant to address conservative concerns that there be no "special" pathway to citizenship for dreamers .

"Sometimes when we think about tariffs, when we think about a trade war, we lose sight of the real impact, and that's on workers", Singh told a news conference on Parliament Hill.
