Warriors GM Bob Myers will give Durant new deal he wants

Golden State Warriors' Kevin Durant celebrates with the trophy after the Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-85 in Friday's Game 4 of the NBA Finals to win the NBA championship in Cleveland.

While it's always possible James could return to Cleveland, that seems unlikely as the Cavaliers have lost to Golden State twice in a row in the finals by a combined game margin of 8-1.

Act IV between the Warriors and Cavs featured a drama-filled Game 1.

And while James said he's still unsure what he will do when he can opt out his contract and hit the free agent market this summer, the 4-time MVP provided his most thorough insight to date regarding his upcoming decision.

Plus, Golden State will get better.

"Then it will ultimately come down to me, and so we'll see what happens". The change now allows teams to sign players to five-year deals up until they are 38 years old.
