Blizzard removes upfront fee for new World of Warcraft players

Whilst Blizzard hasn't officially announced this change, it is now impossible to buy the game from its online shop, and a subscription unlocks all content. The monthly subscription fee now offers access to all content up to and including Legion.

This game-changing decision is clearly an approach to attract new players and a great attempt to bring back lapsed players.

Putin says idea Russian Federation has compromising material on Trump is 'nonsense'
Trump's comments drew heavy criticism from politicians in the United States, including prominent Republicans. Given the inauspicious atmosphere, it's unlikely that any other President would still be meeting Putin.

The inclusion of all of these expansions for all subscribers means that you get access to all of the quests, regions, weapons, mounts, and more that were released with each of the new content packs.

New players will still have to pay extra for forthcoming expansions, such as Battle for Azeroth, which is due to arrive on 14 August 2018 and for which a pre-expansion patch hit the game yesterday (today in Europe).

Lakers Rumors: Kawhi Leonard gets traded to Toronto Raptors
If Leonard left the Raptors , he could sign a four-year, $141 million deal with a team with the available salary-cap space. Leonard played in only nine games in 2017-18, scoring 16.2 points a night, well below his average of 25.5 in 2016-17.

Personally, it's a great thing moving ahead, as this may gradually change how Blizzard employs their expansion strategies.

"Azeroth paid a awful price to end the apocalyptic march of the Legion's crusade-but even as the world's wounds are tended, it is the shattered trust between the Alliance and Horde that may prove hardest to mend". The only one that isn't included is the upcoming Battle for Azeroth, which is set to debut this August. Aside from buying the game itself, you had to pony up the cash for any expansions you wanted, plus a monthly fee. This new model, while it will probably annoy all the players who already bought the expansions, will lower the barrier of entry for new players. In order words, the new model grants players access to all the game's content through level 110 as long as they keep an active subscription.
