Hulk Hogan 'hugged and cheered' by wrestlers following WWE return


Hulk Hogan is back in the WWE's good graces three years after he was caught on tape using the n-word. reclaiming his place in the wrestling organization's Hall of Fame.

Mike Johnson reported on the latest installment of PWInsider Elite Audio that Hulk Hogan left Extreme Rules on Sunday about halfway into the show and headed back to Florida. He even referenced the scandal while being inducted into the Boys & Girls Club Hall of Fame earlier this year. Hogan and WWE have confirmed in the past that they have talked about how they could make his return to the company become a reality.

Hogan was allegedly considered to take part in the recent "Greatest Royal Rumble" event that took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, but a deal could not be struck in time for this to happen. After his suspension was lifted, Hogan tweeted that he had interacted with WWE talent, giving the indication he is at or near the PPG Paints Arena, where the show is being held.
