Ivanka Trump out of fashion at Canadian retailer

The Canadian retail business, which operates stores in Canada and the United States, said on Friday that it pulled all of the first daughter's products from its website overnight and plans to phase out the brand in the coming months.

News about HBC's site was announced on Twitter courtesy of Shannon Coulter, the brand and digital strategist behind the #GrabYourWallet campaign that encouraged people to boycott all Trump-branded products. More than 150 items including clothing, shoes and jewelry have already been removed from its website.

The company says in a statement that it will phase out the brand at its stores throughout the fall.

Though Trump no longer oversees her company's day-to-day operations, she continues to make money. Officials also said Ivanka Trump's company had been notified of the decision last fall.

Several major outlets, including Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Marshalls, have scaled their Trump offerings way back.
