Rangers announce ninth summer signing


Six of Gerrard's summer recruits started that match and the Liverpool legend believes his side are prepared to get their European season underway.

Umar Sadiq has officially joined Rangers on a season long loan from Roma.

Sadiq, whose deal is subject to global clearance and who claimed that, "in Nigeria I am compared to the legend Kanu and Emmanuel Adebayor", said: "It is very good to be here, it has been good so far and I can't wait to start".
