Samsung reportedly did not request that its suppliers add iris scanners with the new device, reports The Verge.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 9 leaked for the gazillionth time on Tuesday, and this time it took the form of a supposedly official marketing render created by Samsung.

The question of wether the new S Pen design is the same one we'll be seeing on the Galaxy Note 9 next month which is going to be connected via Bluetooth, or simply an evolution of the S Pen on the Note 9/Tab S3 is something we'll have to wait for the launch. However, the front bezel is black and because it is pictured with an optional keyboard case accessory, the tablet looks completely black. With it, Samsung's Galaxy Tab S4 should be able to go against Apple's iPad Pro, although the price should be considerably lower. In fact, it's seemingly identical to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

Newly leaked images suggest Samsung's next flagship Android phone won't come with a design refresh this year. It appears that the new S Pen is a bit thinner in size compared to its last version and includes an upgraded tip. The all-new S Pen for the latest Galaxy Tab model has also been leaked in a separate render comparing its aesthetics with the S Pen of last year's Galaxy Tab S3. It will ship with Android 8.1 Oreo.

South Korean tech giant Samsung is now working on its 10th generation Galaxy S smartphones - S10 and S10 Plus. It's possible that the company may unveil its new tablet at the IFA 2018 trade show in Berlin this September.
