Watch a Daredevil Replicate Three of Evel Knievel's Best Jumps

X Games legend, part-time rally driver and full-time professional badass Travis Pastrana, will look to replicate three of the most unsafe motorcycle jumps attempted by Even Knievel tomorrow. To be here in Las Vegas, so much of my history is here.

In the first jump, Pastrana traveled 143 feet as he leaped over 52 crushed cars that were stacked three high.

Pastrana idolized Knievel growing up, and paid tribute to him by wearing his trademark American-flag themed jumpsuit and using a similar motorcycle to the one he originally tried the jump with.

'Avengers: Infinity War': Josh Brolin's Thanos Snap Ban Crashes Reddit Servers
Colter also took the opportunity to make a tongue-in-cheek reference to another of Brolin's characters: the Mad Titan, Thanos. There's still plenty of time to subscribe to the Thanos Did Nothing Wrong subreddit to see if you make the cut or not.

"To be able to get a police escort on the Las Vegas Strip, I mean c'mon", said Pastrana, 34, who cleared the fountains over 50 years after Knievel famously crashed while attempting the same feat.

"Man, it's been such an honor and been an awesome career". In 1973, Knievel traveled 120 feet when he jumped over 50 crushed cars at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Knievel wiped out on the landing and was hospitalized with multiple broken bones, but Pastrana soared over the fountain and landed well down the landing ramp.

Then came the grand finale: Jumping the main fountain at Caesar's Palace. Wearing his own Knievel-like outfit, he then jumped 192 feet over 16 Greyhound buses, beating Knievel's failed attempt to do the same at Wembley Stadium in London in 1975.

Gal Gadot visits children's hospital in Wonder Woman costume
Wonder Woman had the best domestic gross of any DC Extended Universe film and - trumped by Batman V. Gal is now filming the Wonder Woman sequel in the area, which is due to hit theaters in 2019.

But Pastrana grew more serious knowing the most unsafe and technical jump was still to come.

The stunts, set to air live during "Evel Live" on the History Channel, will be performed by Pastrana on an Indian Scout FTR750.

Pastrana jumped the fountain in the opposite direction Knievel did.

Michael Cohen’s New Attorney Has Already Started Bashing Trump
Trump would be like "like a lamb going to the slaughter" if he were to testify, Mr. He adds, "We have no reason to believe he did anything wrong". "Zero.

Even with just a 200-foot run-off area, Pastrana made the final and most hard jump (a record length of 149 feet) look easy, even performing a NASCAR-style two-wheeled burnout in celebration. "This is the most iconic jump in stunt lore".
