Watchdog calls for GOP congressman investigation following accusations he ignored abuse

Jordan has tried to discredit his accusers, especially DiSabato, and his office has sent statements to the press from figures in the wrestling world defending the Ohio Republican, including from the team's former coach.

Amid mounting allegations that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) ignored widespread allegations of sexual abuse at Ohio State, Jordan took to Fox News on Friday evening to defend himself - and to attack the former wrestlers who allege he turned a blind eye to the abuse they suffered. Ryan is not seeking reelection and Jordan is popular with conservative groups.

At first, it was just a handful of former wrestlers making the allegations.

"There is a direct and irreconcilable conflict between the public statements made by seven former Ohio State student wrestlers that Rep. Jordan knew wrestling team members were being sexually abused by the team doctor, and Rep. Jordan's denial that he had any knowledge of the abuses", they write in the letter. "I came across Strauss and I had a thumb injury and ended up getting a physical", former Ohio State wrestler Dunyasha Yetts said.

U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs of Arizona says he believes when all of the facts are revealed "Congressman Jordan will be vindicated". In April, the university announced an independent investigation into former sports physician Richard Strauss, who is accused of groping athletes during appointments.

But Range did say that Jordan was right there in the team's locker room when wrestlers were sharing notes about Strauss's alleged misconduct.

Security Council. "When we spoke to them about the scope of denuclearisation, they did not push back", he said. Pompeo later dismissed those comments, saying the two sides "made progress" and that talks will continue.

He questioned why the focus has been on wrestling, noting that OSU is investigating abuse in other sports, and said while he can not speak for all former OSU wrestlers, he never saw inappropriate behavior from Strauss and never heard of any during his time at the school.

"It's tough to put into words. And for - I know what - I know they know what they're saying is not accurate".

"Perkins Coie boasts a client roster that includes the DNC, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and several Democrat Members of Congress", he said in the statement. "No one reported any abuse to me, if they had I would have dealt with it".

Range told the Washington Post that "Jordan definitely knew that these things were happening - yes, most definitely.

To the contrary, they specifically state they did not tell Jordan but instead say he should have known because there was talk around the locker room". "Everybody joked about it and talked about it all the time".

"I think times are different and I think it could have been put in light of the times", he said. 'I don't know why he would, unless it's a cover-up.

Brooks also claims that he was sacked from the film after he refused to sign a waiver relinquishing his right to sue. The movie is set to open September 7 from Global Road Entertainment.

Fury said, 'He has not been contacted by investigators about the matter but will assist them in any way they ask, because if what is alleged is true, the victims deserve a full investigation and justice'.

"There was definitely inappropriate things that in my opinion were pretty disgusting going on all around us. You just took your shower and got out", Michael Alf, who joined the team in the late 1980s, told The Post on Saturday. The well-being of student-athletes was all of our concern.

Diana Banister, president of Shirley & Banister Public Affairs, declined to say when reached by email whether the firm was working for the coaches pro bono.

DiSabato has been involved in more than one lawsuit against Ohio State. The state attorney general appointed the law firm Porter Wright Morris & Arthur as the school's legal counsel, and that firm hired another, Perkins Coie, to conduct the investigation.

Strauss's family said it will cooperate with the probe.

"Our family was shocked and saddened to hear the allegations of misconduct against the late Dr. Richard H. Strauss", said his family in a statement Sunday.

One of the problems is that once rates reach rock bottom (which is pretty well where they are right now) the only way is up. This could be a good time for more young Americans to take out a Roth Individual Retirement Account or IRA for short.

Breitbart News reported last week that Perkins Coie, the law firm obtained by OSU to investigate sexual assault allegations against their team doctor, paid Fusion GPS to produce the discredited anti-Trump dossier that sparked claims that alleged that President Trump's presidential campaign colluded with Russian Federation.
