Skywatchers will be treated to the longest "blood moon" eclipse of the 21st Century on Friday.
The total eclipse will last 1 hour, 42 minutes and 57 seconds, with a partial eclipse before and after.
"This total lunar eclipse will be primarily visible from the world's Eastern Hemisphere, which are Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand". The first one called the Super Blue Blood Moon took place on January 31. But a small amount of light does actually pass through the outer parts of the Earth's atmosphere and reflect off the moon.
Spain's taxman OKs Ronaldo multi million tax settlement
Ronaldo's greatest rival Lionel Messi also faced similar charges in 2017 as he and his father failed to pay KSh 480 million (€4.1m) in image rights.
Mr Kirkley said that the sunrise would begin during the eclipse which would "wash out" the colours of the moon as it turned red.
During the eclipse, the moon will look red, which is also referred to as a "blood moon".
During a total eclipse, sunlight shining through Earth's dusty atmosphere is bent, or refracted, toward the red part of the spectrum as it is cast onto the moon's surface. This is what gives the phenomenon the name "blood moon", though Mark Bailey of the Armagh Observatory in Northern Ireland said the colour can vary greatly.
Watch the skies tomorrow night - as the moon turns a deep blood red in a rare celestial display which will last more than an hour.
Cubs interested in Cole Hamels
His Rangers contract contained a partial no-trade clause, but the Cubs were not among the teams he could block. He's given up 16 home runs over 59 innings at home and 7 home runs over 55 1/3 innings on the road.
When the full moon moves into Earth's shadow, it will darken, but it won't disappear. Such long duration of total lunar eclipses had earlier occurred on July 16, 2000 for totality duration of 1 hour 46 minutes and another one on June 15, 2011 for totality duration of 1 hour 40 minutes, the statement said. Mars is also safe to view with the naked eye. It will also be almost three times brighter than Sirius - the brightest star in the night sky.
However, for many years in the country, Indians have responded to the lunar eclipse in eccentric ways. But on Friday, the moon reaches its apogee, or the farthest point from Earth in its orbit. "For serious astronomers, this event does offer an extraordinary opportunity to study Mars through their telescopes", the Astronomical Society of India said, according to the agency.
In another rare event, Mars will appear directly below the moon in the skyline tonight at near maximum brightness.

I just don't get it, and I know people will call me sensitive for even talking about it, but hey, that's just who I am. I mean, I know y'all trying to make me look insane and discredit me and strip me of my credibility.
