Beyonce replaces Anna Wintour for Vogue’s September issue like a boss

Beyoncé continues to break barriers as she has reportedly gained full control over Vogue's September issue cover. HuffPost reports that a source shared that Mitchell was given the role "because Beyoncé used her power and influence to get him that assignment".

Last week, we learned that Beyoncé will be on the cover of the September issue of Vogue.

"Anna Wintour is an incredibly talented and creative leader whose influence is beyond measure".

Following the news of many high-level editors leaving the magazine, this September issue is rumored to be Wintour's last and perhaps the sign of a new era for Vogue.

"I depict black people and people of colour in a really real and pure way", he said. Tyler Mitchell, who has been making quite a name for himself since graduating NYU, has worked with Marc Jacobs and Converse, and is known for spotlighting black youth culture.
