A Call of Duty Black Ops 4 multiplayer beta trailer is nothing but hype, and we're all for it.

As per the trailer it will feature 10 playable Specialists, 6 maps, 6 game modes, and a number of new weapons and gear.

The most significant reveal in the trailer is the tease of the game's Blackout mode. It's clear that there's a lot more to Blackout than what we're shown, but we're probably not going to see much until we get closer to September's beta and October's release.

It's worth noting that this first beta is not the beta that will allow players to try out Call of Duty's take on the Battle Royale genre. The second phase starts at 8 PM CAT, Friday, 10 August 2018; while PC fans will get access a day later on Saturday, 11 August. Not only does it look incredible, it is getting us ready for the Black Ops 4 Beta coming this Friday! A code will be displayed on the website and can be redeemed by following the instructions. Though reading between the lines, or actually just pausing the video for specific frames outs some very specific details about the Blackout Mode. Like the multiplayer beta, it will hit PS4 first.

Activision states that the only thing you need for the beta is a Battle.net account, which most PC players will already have.
