The Daily Star was present as director Antoine Fuqua revealed details of a conversation he had with the woman who calls the shots with all things James Bond, producer Barbara Broccoli. Apparently, the article said, the 45-year-old "Luther" star is in the running to play the titular role if the current actor playing Bond, Daniel Craig, retires the part.
In a recent interview, Fuqua said that Brocoli believes "it is time" for a non-white actor to take over the role and that he is personally certain that it "will happen eventually".
