Design-wise, Matt relates that the new Note is narrower and taller than the Note 8, with its dimensions sitting at 161.9 x 76.4 x 8.8mm.
It's worth pointing out that Samsung says Internet Explorer 11 and older do not support live stream playback, and that if you're watching on a mobile device you'll need to have the latest version of either Chrome or YouTube installed.
The LTE variant will be available at AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, and Samsung.com, along with "select major national retailers" later in 2018. However, that's not necessarily a bad thing. As with the S9 it has the variable dual-aperture system (f/1.5 and f/2.4) created to mimic the human eye, a 2x optical zoom on the secondary lens, and a dual-pixel sensor for super slow-mo video recording.
The Galaxy Note9 will be available on August 24, starting at $999.99 for the 128GB model and $1,249.99 for the 512GB model.
Nobody said a flagship phone would be cheap, and that's certainly the case for the Galaxy Note 9. Just like last year's model, the device includes a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED 1440p display, that's almost bezel-less on the sides. After all, Samsung claims an all-day battery life with the Note 9. The Note 9 is also heavier than the Note 8, weighing in at 201 grams compared to 195.
Gates says he helped Manafort hide payments
That includes longtime Manafort deputy Rick Gates , who testified against his former boss. He told jurors he embezzled from Manafort by filing false expense reports.
As for the camera we're getting the same horizontal dual camera layout as the Note 9, albeit with a fingerprint scanner below the lenses. The dual-camera setup is still placed horizontally and it comes with a fingerprint sensor mounted right below it.
The only way to tell that it's a Galaxy Note9 is by looking at the rear camera module. The large, rectangular module does not look aesthetically pleasing at all, and the different sizes of the camera lenses don't have any symmetry either.
As for the Galaxy Note 9 512 GB, that won't be offered on every carrier.
Like the Note8, this is an all-glass smartphone with a slim, straight top and bottom bezel.
This Note 9 Infinity Display has the on-trend aspect ratio of 18:5:9 and really pops in terms of brightness and colour reproduction, he adds. It is very bright, very vibrant, and the viewing angles are - unsurprisingly - very good. It's still largely similar to the Note 8's S Pen, and it works just as well too.
The S-Pen can be recharges in the phone, with 30 seconds of charging offering 30 minutes of charge.
Rand Paul says he delivered a letter from Trump to Putin
Trump sparked outrage by largely accepting Putin's word over that of his intelligence agencies at the Helsinki news conference. A reported text of the draft bill published Wednesday sent Russia's ruble to lows against the dollar last seen in April.
Why did Samsung bother to mention the number of clicks?
Its S Pen stylus is Bluetooth-enabled and created to act as a remote for controlling Youtube video playback.
As rumoured the S-Pen is Bluetooth-enabled with a button that can be used to activate the camera shutter.
Samsung's Gear S3 was an incredibly popular smartwatch (at least among Android Authority readers), so it shouldn't come as a surprise that the company is launching yet another entry into the smartwatch space. Note 9 and Tab S4 owners also get a special skin called Galaxy. The phone also has Samsung's water cooling solution to help dissipate heat from the processor over extended periods to prevent performance drops associated with overheating. Of course, there's no telling just how good these features are until we test it out ourselves.
It looks a hell of a lot like the Galaxy Note 8, but it has upgraded internals and a fancy new S Pen. In our short usage, the "scene" icon is barely noticeable, and the recognition doesn't feel as quick as Huawei's P20. After that, it should finally be available to more devices, but only those that meet the requirements.
That's what we know so far about the Galaxy Watch.
Gay men thanked Ben Stokes for protecting them, court hears
Stokes "started to take the mick out of them", mimicking their actions and "high-pitched" voices, he told the court. He also denied flicking his lit cigarette end in the suggested manner at a gay man's head outside the club.
The Samsung Note 9 has now been officially announced and our colleague Matt Swider over at T3's sister site TechRadar has had some quality hands-on time with it. For the time being, this is without a doubt the best Note device yet, and I can't wait to put the Note 9 through its paces in a full review.
