Speculation about Pogba’s future at United continues to mount

A 2-1 victory on Friday night, built around a stirring performance and an early penalty from World Cup victor Pogba as well as Luke Shaw's first career goal, might have been cause for good cheer but Mourinho chose the occasion to revisit his concerns over the club's recent business.

Pogba, who was given the captaincy by Mourinho on Friday, summed up what it meant for him to be happy and comfortable.

Mourinho also added that the club had to play against a team that spent more than United in the transfer window, while also claiming that other teams are bringing quality players into their side. "That's all I say".

"If you're not happy, you can not give your best", Pogba said.

"There are things, and there are things that I can not say, otherwise I will get fined", he said.

Premier League 2018/2019: Manchester City predicted XI and formation vs Arsenal
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany lifted the English Premier League trophy back in May and it now looks like an eternity ago.

United failed to build on that positive start, though, as Leicester went onto enjoy the better of the first-half with £20 million signing James Maddison impressing on debut.

"I always love the club", he continued.

"I prepared myself mentally and physically for everything that lies ahead". I learned from all of them, but I don't think, being in leadership, there is a book how to become one.

"Having the armband it's not like "oh, I will show that I am a real captain and have to do extra work". No".

"It is just the win that is the most important".

PGA Championship: Final round tee times, pairings for Sunday at Bellerive
Jordan Spieth's career Grand Slam chances vanished with an ugly - and unusual - triple bogey on Saturday at the PGA Championship . Koepka defended his US Open crown in June, the first back-to-back US Open victor since Curtis Strange in 1988-89.

Pogba wrote: "I'll always give my best to the fans and my teammates no matter what's going on".

United have never had a director of football before but it's a role that has worked quite well for arch-rivals Manchester City, who appointed Txiki Begiristain in 2012 to much acclaim.

Pogba said "everybody was on the same page" in the France dressing room, from manager Didier Deschamps to the staff and players.

"We have to wait for end of November, beginning of December to understand how things are going and if we can fight for the title".

Victory over Leicester came just 24 hours after Woodward had come up empty-handed on deadline day despite Mourinho's demand for at least one new centre-back. "I love the club". I came back on Monday so it was very hard for the legs and the stamina but we played very well.

Wrong Tommy Fleetwood gets paid over $150000 for British Open
You're not the Tommy Fleetwood who won the European Race To Dubai and recorded top 5 finishes in majors in 20178 and 2018. Fleetwood, who begins his PGA Championship bid at Bellerive on Thursday , said: "It looks pretty genuine".

Asked about the differences between playing for France and playing for United, Pogba said: "I am the same, but it's a different team, obviously". For me, it was a dream come true.
