Union urges police to return their Miami Dolphins tickets after anthem protest

Police in Florida are reportedly being discouraged by their unions from buying Miami Dolphins tickets after two Dolphins players knelt during the national anthem Thursday in their preseason opener.

Broward's Police Benevolent Association had offered its members discounted tickets to games through a partnership with the Miami Dolphins.

The protests came months after team owners reacted to public backlash in May by issuing a policy requiring that all team personnel who decide to be on the field during the song "shall stand and show respect for the flag and the Anthem". As a result, the BCPBA will no longer participate in this ticket program, and we are asking all of our members, as well as members of the Dade County PBA and Palm Beach County PBA, not to participate either.

NASA spacecraft rockets toward sun for closest look yet

"The NFL players are at it again - taking a knee when they should be standing proudly for the National Anthem", Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter.

Players from the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks also protested at their game on Thursday, provoking President Donald Trump into repeating his condemnations of their actions.

The NFL and its player's union have been working to resolve a complaint filed in court in July about the new policy forcing players to stand for the anthem.

Colbert: Trump's proposed Space Force inspired by Buzz Lightyear
Trump marked Pence's announcement with a tweet: " Space Force all the way!" It will literally be called Space Force . However, Dodge added, one driving force to create a Space Force now instead of sometime in the future is political.

While Trump may not be able to suspend National Football League players, we guarantee he'll continue tweeting about the issue throughout the entire season so he can distract his racist fans from seeing how much of a dumpster fire his administration has been. The NFL and NFLPA, however, are still discussing this rule and are trying to reach an agreement.

The NFL now has its anthem policy on hold as it tries to come to a compromise with the NFLPA on the issues. "The NFL has engaged in constructive discussions with the NFL Players Association regarding the anthem and issues of equality and social justice that are of concern to many Americans", the league said in a statement. Albert Wilson @iThinkIsee12 joined him in protest.
